1. You'll Support Neighborhood Events
Membership dues help us plan events for the neighborhood. Here is a list of the events we have previously planned for the neighborhood:

Gatewood Home Tour, Neighbors Night Out, Neighborhood Safety & Security Meeting, Gatewood Garage Sale (permits covered by neighborhood), Annual Meeting, Christmas/Holiday Social, Gatewood Easter Egg Hunt and Porch Crawls!

We also serve the nearby districts, such as the Plaza District and Uptown 23rd, to help promote events nearby.
2. You'll Keep Gatewood Looking Beautiful
We have one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Oklahoma City, and it costs money to keep our neighborhood looking great. Every penny we make is put back into the neighborhood to help maintain the neighborhood and campaign for new projects. Over the course of a year, these things add up and we need your help funding annual expenses!

We have recently added new neighborhood signage on 16th Street, and we are amidst planning for new sign toppers soon. We also promote the Yard of the Month and other annual events and contests.
3. You'll Help Steer the Neighborhood's Direction
Gatewood is a hopping place to be. The neighborhood is one of the most desirable in OKC, and as a result there's a lot of new things happening here.

Being a dues-paying member means you help steer the direction of the neighborhood! Maybe you're interested in the new residential and commercial developments in the neighborhood, or perhaps you have some concerns and worries about our schools. We are a voice for the neighborhood and our ability to stand for something is meaningful and powerful. By being involved, you can help change the shape of the neighborhood for the better!

Our neighbors are our friends, and being part of GHD gives you the opportunity to meet new people and make great friends. Whether it's hanging out at The Mule for a pint and a sandwich, getting together with hundreds of neighbors for Neighbors Night Out or attending one of our coveted Porch Crawls, you are guaranteed to make many lifelong friends.
